It is mandatory for guests staying at this shukubo to participate in chanting sutra, zazen and breakfast (rice porridge) in the morning. They hold a zazen meeting from 18:30 to 20:30 every Saturday and an early morning zazen meeting from 6:00 to 8:00 on the first Sunday of the month. Groups of 10 or more can make a one night, two day stay for an individual zazen experience for the group (reservations are necessary one week in advance). In addition, they actively hold zazen events.�@I hear that they give kind instruction even to beginners. Reservations are required for shojin (vegetarian) course dishes. They also have a shojin cafe, where a steamed laver plate (steamed laver, black bean tea and pickles) is served.
